AMZ Consultancy is a young and vibrant company that helps companies sell their inventory successfully on Amazon. We are all ex-Googlers and we feel like a start-up when it comes to making decisions at lightning speed, and we feel like a mature company with the type of outcomes we deliver. We focus on getting our clients’ products on Amazon, ensure they perform well on SEO and then build strong SEA campaigns to boost the Amazon sales performance for those companies. 

Who you are

Your knowledge of online media and marketplaces, combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities, can help new and existing businesses grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you are able to provide high-caliber client services, market research and analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of AMZ Consultancy’s key clients and understand how the Amazon range of product offerings can help their business grow internationally. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy on how Amazon and their advertising platform can reach thousands of new and existing clients.

What we are looking for

We are offering a full-time role for an Account and Marketing Lead to manage a portfolio of exciting companies in EMEA. You will be responsible for managing the overall client performance on Amazon and continuing our effective relationships with these clients. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the founders of the company and other senior leaders in the online advertising and marketplaces ecosystem. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to join networking events to learn more about marketplaces and to develop yourself into a known figure in that arena.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up, developing and growing the AMZ Consultancy client base by actively managing a set portfolio of clients, with an emphasis on both SEO and SEA on the Amazon platform.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly analyses, and use collected data to create actionable business plans geared towards performance improvement.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Knowledge / Affinity with the online advertising industry / E-commerce landscape.
  • Ability to fluently speak and write in Dutch and/or one other European language in a market where Amazon is active.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in setting up and managing Amazon professional sellers accounts.
  • Proven experience in sales and account management.
  • Knowledge of the online advertising industry and the ability to see trends in the existing marketplaces.
  • Ability to conduct market level analyses to identify opportunities and develop and execute an acquisition strategy and has experience in thinking strategically with clients.
  • Highly analytical, with a track record of being a strong problem solver, capable of translating analyses and insights into actionable business plans.
  • Last but not least, a team player who is fun to work with and has good communication skills with clients as well as with the rest of the team.
